1. Who we are
Healthy Returns is operated by Healthy Returns Pty Ltd, an Australian company. We run a clinical forecasting and intelligence platform at healthyreturns.com.au. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at hello@healthyreturns.com.au.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information — your email address, and any profile details you choose to provide (name, title, specialty, institution, city, country, bio).
- Forecasting activity — your probability submissions, votes, ratings, and trial assessments, along with any rationale you choose to provide.
- Preferences — your areas of interest, starred questions, and display name settings.
- Usage data — standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics tracking beyond what Vercel provides for deployment infrastructure.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the platform, including presenting community signals and leaderboard scores.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, campaign invitations, password reset).
- Understand the composition of our community for platform development and research.
- Contact you about the platform if you have opted in.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Data storage and processors
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (database and authentication), which is SOC 2 Type II certified. Email delivery is handled by Resend. The platform is hosted on Vercel. All three are reputable infrastructure providers with their own published privacy and security practices.
Data may be stored on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the platform you consent to this transfer.
5. Your forecasting data and public visibility
Your full forecasting history is always visible to you when logged in. You control whether your name appears on public areas of the platform:
- If you set a display name and enable public profile, your display name appears on the leaderboard and community signal.
- If you leave your display name blank or disable your public profile, you appear as "Anonymous clinician" on all public pages.
- Your individual forecast values are never displayed publicly — only aggregate community signals are shown.
6. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (and where applicable, the GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.

7. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
